TTC Fulda-Maberzell: The euphoria is back

TTC Fulda-Maberzell is one of the traditional clubs in the TTBL: The team from Hessen has been playing in the 1st Bundesliga for 22 years, and there still is a special atmosphere at the home matches of this club, an enthusiasm which only a few clubs are able to arouse. To be more precise: in Fulda, this enthusiasm exists again. "When we fixed our play-off participation in the match against Grünwettersbach after two years of pandemic, there immediately was the same euphoria as before," Stefan Frauenholz reports, and he should be the one who knows. From the very beginning, he has been in charge of the Bundesliga club, and today he is one of the most experienced managers in the TTBL.

It was the personnel continuity that distinguished the club over all these years, and not only in the management. The TTC Fulda has already reached the play-off finals three times, a proud record, even if the big hit has not yet been achieved. Now the team from Hesse is proud to be back in the play-offs after they have had a dry spell of several years. They had fallen back a little due to the new entrant Fanbo Meng, "but now we have come back impressively," says Frauenholz.

There is another young man who has contributed significantly to this, Alexandre Cassin. The French newcomer made an outstanding debut in his first year in the TTBL with a 13:1 record.

Two big stars complete the team: the multiple African champion Quadri Aruna and the German national player Ruwen Filus are absolute crowd pullers not only because of their special playing styles. So, the mixture is right in Fulda at the moment. No wonder that the team will remain unchanged in the season 2022/23.

Continuity and reliability, team spirit even in difficult times: All this is also characteristic for DONIC, all this has been put into practice by the traditional German company for many years in its partnerships with coaches, players and clubs.
